Montel, a pioneer of high-density mobile storage shelving system solutions, is pleased to announce that the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has selected Montel’s Mobilex High-Density Mechanical Mobile Storage System for storage filing needs at its Headquarters in Austin, Texas. In conjunction with Montel’s Local Authorized Distributor, LDS Group, this contract will be for the supply and installation of Montel’s mobile storage units and SmartShelf 4-Post hybrid shelving.
Understanding the importance of offering cost-effective innovative storage filing solutions, Mobilex will offer the TCEQ the performance solution required for greater evolving storage capacity in less floor space. Using the latest technology to ensure Mobilex is as safe as it is functional and reliable, Montel’s mechanical safety brake on both sides of the carriage ensures total protection to users or objects by automatically stopping carriages when the toe-level safety bar is pressed. A simple pressure on the toe-level safety sweep activates the aisle mechanical safety brake without the need of any electrical power requirement.
Designed and engineered to be the most adaptable storage filing shelving system in the industry, SmartShelf can be configured and reconfigured at any time to satisfy changing storage filing needs and space availability, enabling the possibility to anticipate potential storage needs for the TCEQ.
The TCEQ is the environmental agency for the state. The TCEQ has approximately 2,900 employees, 16 regional offices, and a $522.7 million operating budget for the 2009 fiscal year (including both baseline and contingency appropriations)
