Montel, a global leader of high-density mobile storage shelving system solutions for office, institutional and industrial applications, is pleased to announce today that it has been awarded ISO 14001:2004 certification, a worldwide standard for environmental management.
As outlined by ISO (International Organization for Standardization), ISO 14001:2004 specifies requirements for an environmental management system to enable an organization such as Montel to develop and implement a policy and objectives which take into account legal requirements and other requirements to which the organization subscribes, and information about significant environmental aspects.

We are committed in developing and reviewing our objectives in order to assure our Environmental Management System’s performance.”
ISO 14001:2004 applies to those environmental aspects that the organization identifies as those, which it can control, and those that it can influence. It does not itself state specific environmental performance criteria. The purpose of this standard is to help all types of organizations to protect the environment, to prevent pollution, and to improve their environmental performance. |
